3RD ANNUAL “WHO WE CAN BE” LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE
This Saturday April 2nd, 2011 at the Corwin Pavilion from 9am-2pm we will be providing you with the opportunity to meet an FBI Agent, the CEO of a multi-million dollar international company, and the Marketing Director of a large franchise corporation. You will have the opportunity to attend workshops about public speaking, how to ace your interview, entrepreneurship and much much more!!!
Our Keynote speaker will be Nancy Ramirez from the largest Latino Civil Rights firm in the United States and it doesn’t stop there! We have set up a corporate luncheon where you will have the opportunity to mingle with professionals from different industries and sectors such as the government, accounting, marketing, medicine, business and many more.
We will be raffling off prizes and scholarships! Breakfast and Lunch will be FREE!!!!

The Latino Business Association at the University of California, Santa Barbara was founded in 1983. We are a group of students that are interested in pursuing professional careers in business related fields. Our membership is comprised of individuals from diverse ethnic backgrounds, as well as academic disciplines.
The mission of the Latino Business Association is to construct a communication bridge between our members and corporate America. We actively seek internships and employment positions in the careers corresponding to Business Law, Marketing, Advertisement, Accounting, and any other opportunities that may interest our members. As a student-run, non-profit organization, we thrive on a variety of activities to complete and fulfill our goals. In doing so, we have built a firm foundation through various careers exposition, leadership conferences, community involvement, excellent guest speakers, and fundraisers. Together, the members of the Latino Business Association strive to learn the imperative responsibilities that are inherent within the working world, by emphasizing in academic, communal, and corporate networks.
